ONLY 2 DAYS LEFT IN OUR LIQUIDATION SALE! Currently, all inventory in our New Vineyard location is marked at 50% off. At the end of business on Tuesday, November 29, our New Vineyard location will close. We will conduct no business on Wednesday, November 30 as we move our business operations to our new location, and on Thursday, December 1, we will open in our new location at 66 Salem Road in Kingfield.

C-Prompt is expanding our service area!

In order to better serve our customers throughout Franklin County, we are making some changes. We are adding a Mobile Tech to primarily serve the Farmington and Wilton area, and moving our main store in New Vineyard to our home in Kingfield to better meet the needs of our customers in Northern Franklin County. You will begin seeing some changes with regards to this happening this coming week. We hope to have the final move completed after Thanksgiving.

Because of this move, we are LIQUIDATING most of our inventory. Starting Tuesday, November 15th all inventory on the shelf will be marked down 25%. This discount will continue through the week, with steeper discounts on remaining items possible the week of Thanksgiving.

Please stop in to see what you can find, and be looking here for more information over the next few weeks.

Our normal hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

We have updated our Maintenance Contract pricing to save you money. A maintenance contract can be a great option for small businesses with multiple computers. Let us solve your IT problems so you can focus on running your business.

We have also added a new Online Backup Service for our customers who need offsite storage of critical files. We caution you, however, to not purchase space to back up all your data. Rather one should purchase enough space to backup the dynamic data - data that changes on a regular basis. Static data - such as pictures, music, and videos, should simply be burned to a DVD and stored offsite. The primary reason for this is that uploading data can take a lot of time. It is probably not worth doing for things that can quickly be burned and stored offsite by yourself. However, for financial records that change daily, or other critical files, and automated offsite backup is a great option.

A few weeks ago CA resolved the incompatibility between CA Internet Security Suite and Internet Explorer 9. If you install IE 9 and have problems with CA, please reinstall CA and the installation program should detect the presence of IE 9 and download a patch automatically to resolve the issue.

C-Prompt Computers has learned that CA Internet Security Suite and Internet Explorer 9 have compatibility problems. If you are using CA, you should NOT install Internet Explorer 9. If you have already installed IE 9 and are having problems with CA, you can go to the Control Panel, and then look for the link to Add or Remove programs, and then uninstall Internet Explorer 9.

If your computer is functional and you have a high speed internet connection, many problems can be resolved remotely, without the hassle of taking your computer apart to bring to our store or without the added expense of a house call. We will be able to give customers immediate quotes, and we can even arrange to have the computers shipped directly to our customers for no extra charge.
